Itinerary:
Day 1: Tokyo
Upon arrival in Tokyo, commence your exploration of the city.
You may like to visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Building in Shinjuku. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Tokyo from the free observation deck.

Day 2: Tokyo
Take the Tokyo (Cityrama) Morning Tour (9:00 to 13:10)
After the tour, discover the Ueno area including the Ameyoko Ueno Markets, Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo – famous for its giant pandas.
Day 3: Tokyo
Explore Odaiba, Tokyo’s modern entertainment and amusement district located on an artificial island.

Take a day trip to Kamakura, a beautiful coast side city that was also the former capital of Japan from 1192-1333.
Day 4: Tokyo – Hakone
Get aboard the Mt Fuji & Hakone 1 Day Tour (9:00 – 17.30)

Day 5: Hakone – Takayama
Head off to Takayama, a charming little samurai town in the heart of the Japanese Alps. Explore this lovely historic town at your own pace.

Day 6: Takayama
Stroll through the morning market along the Miyagawa River. Then wander around Kamisanmachi to view the traditional samurai houses, Takayama Jinya (a former government outpost), the Festival Floats Museum and more.
Day 7: Takayama – Shirakawago – Kanazawa
Stop by and savour the idyllic scenery of Shirakawago on the way to Kanazawa. This World Heritage listed village contains many traditional thatched-roof farmhouses. In the early afternoon move on to Kanazawa, a beautiful seaside castle town famous for its Kenrokuen Garden, one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan.

Day 8: Kanazawa – Kyoto
Explore Kanazawa in the morning. Stroll around Nagamachi Bukeyashiki, the preserved samurai district and Higashi Chayagai, the district lined with former tea house and preserved geisha houses. Board a train to Kyoto in the afternoon and discover the local food culture at the Nishiki Food Market. Then explore the Kyoto Station area. The free observation deck provides you with a sweeping Kyoto city view.

Day 9: Kyoto
Join the Kyoto Morning Tour (8:35 – 13:00)
After the tour, marvel at the wooden structure of the Kiyomizu-no-Butai (Kiyomizu Stage) at Kiyomizudera Temple. Then, visit Gion, one of the largest geisha districts in Kyoto.
Day 10: Kyoto – Nara – Kyoto
Be captivated by the thousands of vermillion torii gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine and the seasonal garden and coloured leaves at Tofukuji Temple. Continue your journey to Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple, then walk through Nara Park, visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine. On the way back to Nara Station, Stroll around Naramachi, the former merchant district of Nara.
Day 11: Kyoto – Hiroshima
Catch a train to the peace city, Hiroshima. Witness and learn of the tragic results of war and heartbreaking stories at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum.

Day 12: Hiroshima – Miyajima Island – Hiroshima
Board a ferry to the shrine island, Miyajima, where the giant floating tori gate on the sea is waiting to greet you. You will be fascinated by the sublime, vermillion Itsukushima Shrine, a world heritage site that floats with the rising tide. Stroll around the island and Mt Misen before returning to Hiroshima.
Day 13: Hiroshima – Osaka
Relish the bustling, friendly, food-lovers city of Osaka. Enjoy the panoramic city view from the floating observatory in Umeda district. Discover your favourite local street food in Dotonbori and don’t miss the impressive Osaka Castle.

Day 14: Osaka – Kansai/ Narita International Airport
Depart Japan or head to your next destination.
